Hi! We are two teenage girls who love to share our strong passion for film production while making an impact on the world. Our names are Saran Kaur and Meher Kaur, and we are sisters.

Saran is 14 years old and is a rising high school freshman at Poolesville High School. I have a passion for acting, and loves singing, playing instruments, and dancing. Last summer, both Meher and I were counselors at a summer camp held at Black Rock Center For The Arts. I was a counselor who worked with young kids to help them put on a play. This included everything from brainstorming, to scripting, to singing and dancing, to backdrops, and finally to the excitement of the final show.

Meher worked with an older age group to put on a full length production of many different plays combined into one. Here she worked with different groups to put together a final production including; scripts, acting, singing, dancing, costumes, backstage commotion, and the final show! This was a great experience for both of us and we really got the foundation, basic skills, and idea for this summer camp from this experience.

Meher is 16 years old and is a rising junior at Poolesville High School, where she attends the Humanities and Communications Program. I have a passion for film making, photography, and editing. I enjoy taking photos, making movies for fun, and painting. In middle school and high school, my teachers really encouraged me to enter many video contests. From these opportunities, I developed my skills and have collected a lot of movie making experience. Producing a film is a really great experience and I would love to share my passion with kids!

Regarding camp safety, the camp will be run by Meher and Saran, but an adult will be present to supervise at all times. Your child's safety comes first!
